Addison has a short snout and she likes to munch on grass. ![]() But we have had similar issues with the Baskerville muzzle regarding the panting room and face mashing. My pup Addison only wore it for a few minutes so I can’t really speak to the panting room. My only experience with the JAFCO muzzle was at the vet’s office when I forgot to bring our own. Wondering if anyone's had any good results with the JAFCO plastic muzzle, or if there are any good recommendations for a super panty princess?īonus picture of the stinkbutt in question Not to say she can't pant (or drink/nibble treats through them), but I want to get her one with more space so she's able to properly pant in comfort given her freakish snake-like jaw span. On top of that her current muzzles (Baskerville Ultra + Bronze Dog wire muzzle) don't have the most room for panting. I try to prevent her from face mashing but hell it's her favourite thing (and she'll softy.ish headbutt your legs to tell you she's annoyed when she's not allowed). She face mashes grass regardless of muzzle or not, so it's not a matter of discomfort we don't think. ![]() She's always worn a muzzle but her favourite past time is face mashing into the grass and rolling around - which can bring the muzzle down far enough she can get out of it (head strap and all be damned, the girl knows what she wants). Here comes the tricky part, we live in an area with lots of owners who think it's great to have their dogs off leash (in leash only parks) and can't call back their own dogs. We're doing training and she's been able to make 3 doggo friends which we once thought impossible. Some backstory we've got a rescue Staffy X who fear bites unless she's able to sniff the other dog first without them reacting. Just wanted to ask for opinions on the JAFCO clear plastic muzzles ( ) or similar. If you report a comment, please also message the mods so that we don't miss it.
